NO I will not organize my photos

And the world said, let there be a shed. Finished. 8x8... if only that was enough space for two people and all of their stuff to comfortably live without a stove for warmth or food. Ah well that is not the case, but I'm pretty excited about our tangible claim on the land. Now all we have to do is figure out where we are going to live in a month... yeee. Did I mention that all the materials for both the cabin and shed were FREE and RECYCLED. Okay well minus the paint and nails, but c'mon. Et Voila.

ANTI - SCREEN

Okay so technically I am "on vacation," at my mom's house on the western slope and living blissfully screen free, but I just couldn't stop myself from trying to catch up on Paris Fashion Week. I nearly died when I saw this beautiful collection from Isabel Marant. HOW GOOD. This isn't the whole collection, but the bests. I'll write more when I agree to turn on this glowing rectangle again. Next up MIU MIU swoon.

AWAY-TEEN LOVE

Yo yiggity yo. Nicholas is out of town on business :( FOR A LONG TIME. Junky. Also junky because the shed isn't finished yet. Also junky because the cabin isn't built yet and guess what?.... YES we are scheduled to move up there in ONE MONTH OH MY GOD THERE IS NO WAY TO PULL THIS OFF. So where are we going to live you ask? Well luckily we have options because any smart girl will tell you life is about options...

Option 1... an 8x8 shed with no roof other than plywood and tar paper (get wet, cramped and cancer option)
Option 2... Our trusty tent (even more cramped, frozen, but cancer free option)
Option 3... No shelter (dead option)

Which is the lesser of the evils? No one knows. Here are some pictures of the so called progress we have made, and by we I mean Nick... I just handed him tools and pretended to know how to drill things.

By the way we know how stupid we are for waiting so long to start but many unforeseen obstacles jumped out of nowhere at us... which let's be honest... always happens so we should have seen them coming. WHATEVER. The point is not to worry this blog will not end up reading like some into the wild bullshit because well 1, we know how to survive in the wild... 2, we know when to ask for help... and um 3, we get cell service on the property so...

Oh yeah, these two deers were in love
